Train4ALN is passionate about fostering a community where children with additional learning needs feel valued and supported. Our programs are designed not just for the children but to equip educators, families, and communities with the skills to create inclusive, empowering environments. By joining us, you’re part of a network dedicated to breaking barriers and opening doors for every child to achieve their full potential.
At Train4ALN, our primary goal is to ensure that children with additional learning needs receive the support and resources necessary to thrive in both educational and home environments. We are committed to empowering those who work closely with these children—teachers, parents, caregivers, and support staff—by providing them with the specialised professional training and strategies they need to foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
Our focus is on creating environments where every child, regardless of their learning challenges, feels valued, understood, and capable of achieving their potential. By offering tailored training programs that address the unique cognitive, sensory, and emotional needs of children with learning differences, we aim to bridge the gap between traditional education and the diverse learning needs of each individual child.
We envisage a world where educators and caregivers are fully equipped to recognise and nurture each child's strengths, ensuring that no child is left behind. Our goal extends beyond immediate classroom and caregiving solutions, aiming to cultivate a broader understanding of inclusion, resilience, and empathy within communities. By spreading awareness and fostering inclusive practices, we hope to inspire systemic change that creates better outcomes for children with additional learning needs, both now and in the future.
Fun Sessions (Saturday Club) is a dedicated time for children with sensory needs to explore and engage in sensory-friendly activities in a calm and supportive environment. Train4aln is dedicated to working in partnership with professionals in Lesotho to support the development of robust educational provision for children with additional learning needs in Lesotho, Africa. We work closely with local schools, caregivers, and communities to raise awareness of a range of disabilities, by providing training and so empowering schools to take ownership and sustain their development of resources. Through our outreach programs, we aim to work collaboratively with teachers, in situ in Lesotho in conjunction with Dolen Cymru.
A key part of our mission involves traveling to Lesotho several times a year. During these visits, our team spends time with the children, organising activities that focus on sensory engagement, communication development, and motor skills through adapted sports sessions and equipment. These activities are designed to be both educational and fun, ensuring that the children receive the attention and stimulation they need in a nurturing environment.
